HAPPY NEW SPIN AROUND THE SUN

January: first trip to the island … house emergency!

The details of a bungled fuel delivery and resulting problems are not worth mentioning here but I will share one of the attractions from the "frigging frozen island" ...

HI_COYOTES_2015_560

These are two coyotes that roamed between the island and mainland every day while we were there. There are coyotes on the island but this was the first time I saw them, not just heard, on this side of the island. Pictures taken from inside of the house, 24x optical zoom photo and 48x digital zoom inserted detail.

... to Florida where our new residency is being established. We will continue to enjoy the summers on Howe Island in Ontario, Canada, and the winters in Saint Augustine Beach in Florida, USA. Now back to unpacking, sorting, and organizing.

Boating season has started … really???

August: Beaver … evicted … twice … has moved to the next dock.

September: Cruising time … woohoo! … but …

REMEMBER THE RULE OF THIRDS
Use the first third of your available fuel to get to your destination; save the next third for getting back to the dock; and keep the remaining third for reserve.

December: anywhere joins anytime
